Dans le Cohen, les auteurs (Feuardent Frères) signalaient en 1885 qu'un sesterce d'Otacilia Sévéra de ce type, avec une magnifique patine bleue, avait été adjugé 350 francs or à Paris, dans une vente publique soit la cote d’un médaillon d’or à l’époque.
In the Cohen, the authors (Feuardent Frères) reported in 1885 that an Otacilia Sévéra sesterce of this type, with a magnificent blue patina, had been sold for 350 gold francs in Paris, in a public sale, i.e. the price of a gold medallion at the time
