Ce denier est frappé sur un flan large et irrégulier recouvert d’une forte patine. La croix du revers apparaît légèrement en négatif au droit. Exemplaire avec des faiblesses de frappe

PRINCIPALITY OF ORANGE - RAYMOND IV
(1340-1393)
Orange often imitated the mints of its neighbors or even of much more distant regions. The king often reproached the princes for this, prohibiting the circulation of cash from the principality in the kingdom. On the death of Raymond IV, without a direct heir, the principality passed into the house of Chalon with Jean I (1399-1412).
