NIVERNAIS - COUNTY Nevers - MAHAUT II

(1257-1262)

After the death of the Countess Yolande, daughter Mahaut inherited the county of Nevers. Since 1247 Mahaut was married to Eudes, son of the Duke of Burgundy Hugues IV. His sister, Agnes, had shared the Bourbonnais. His marriage to Eudes, Mahaut had three daughters: Yolande inherited the county of Nevers in the death of his mother (1262), Marguerite was County Thunder and finally Alix who had the county of Auxerre. From 1262 to 1267, Eudes administrative county of Nevers.
