Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale et irrégulier, bien centré avec les grènetis visibles. Beau portrait de haut relief mis en valeur par la patine. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Jolie patine de médaillier avec des reflets dorés

NERVA

(18/09/96-25/01/98)

The reign of Nerva, born in 32, is a period of transition. It traditionally marks the end of the Twelve Caesars of Suetonius and makes the junction with the Antonine dynasty or co-opted emperors. Nerva was consul in 71 then in 90 and took his third consulship in 97. Aged, Nerva joined Trajan by adopting him. The latter succeeded him in January 98.
