Exemplaire sur un flan large, mince et irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Usure importante, mais parfaitement lisible et identifiable. Patine vert foncé

Michel IV succeeded Romain III and married Zoé, the Empress. His reign was short because he died on his return from a campaign against the Slavs. Zoe, then Michael V succeeded him in 1041/2.
