À noter que la refrappe en cuivre que signale Feuardent (n° 1301) n’a aucun rapport avec notre jeton car son buste est très jeune, le nôtre étant celui du Feuardent 1285, avec ALEXA, et la tranche ne est cannelée.
Bref, triple mystère : d’époque ou refrappe ? Comment le désaxé a-t-il été produit et pourquoi ? Pourquoi cette erreur de frappe est-elle arrivée jusqu’à nous (par le truchement de la collection Lathoumétie).
