Demetrius, son of Antigonus, who was killed at the battle of Ipsos in 301 BC, Ptolemy's fleet crushed at the Battle of Salamis (The statue of Winged Victory). Great strategist, he received the title of Poliorcetes (the assiégeur). King of Macedonia after the death of Cassandra, in 294 BC, he was dethroned by Lysimachus and Pyrrhus and Antiochus died prisoner in Syria (283 AC)..
