Camille de Neufville de Villeroy porte d’azur au chevron d’or accompagné de trois croisettes ancrées du même. Il est le fils de Charles, marquis d'Halincourt et de Jacqueline de Harlay, né à Rome le 12 août 1606 et eut le pape Paul V pour parrain. Il est le frère puîné du maréchal Nicolas de Villeroy qui fut gouverneur de Louis XIV. Abbé d'Ainay, il est aussi seigneur d'Ombreval puis de la seigneurie de Vimy et de la Tour de Ligneux. Archevêque et Comte de Lyon, Primat de France, Commandeur des Ordres du Roi, et “Lieutenant Général pour Sa Majesté aux Païs de Lionnois, Forêts et Beaujollois”, Camille de Neufville de Villeroy fut un puissant personnage qui mourut à l'âge avancé de quatre-vingt-sept ans en 1693.
