Dans les fonds anciens qui constituent la bibliothèque municipale de Lyon on retrouve les cabinets de “de deux Lyonnais voyageurs et collectionneurs du XVIIe siècle : Gaspard de Liergues et son frère, Balthazar de Monconys”. Il était prévot des marchands de Lyon (1651-1653) et conseiller du roi en ses conseils d’Etat. On reste perplexe devant le type de revers.
