C’est la deuxième fois que nous proposons ce type de divisionnaire pour cette cité dont le monnayage d’époque classique semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.

Phaselis, of Dorian origin, the only Greek city in the region, was located on the eastern coast of Lycia. Founded in 690 BC by settlers from Rhodes Island, its site was chosen because of its port, in an inhospitable region, which allowed its development and to play an important commercial role.
