Ce gros est frappé sur un flan assez large, légèrement irrégulier. Exemplaire présentant des reliefs plus nets au droit qu’au revers et recouvert d’une légère patine grise

Josse, or Jocodus of Moravia, was born in 1351. He was the son of Jean-Henri, the grandson of King John of Bohemia and the nephew of Emperor Charles IV. Two of his cousins, Wenceslas and Sigismund of Hungary ceded to him the Duchy of Luxembourg, Lusatia, Brandenburg and part of Hungary. He wanted to overthrow Emperor Wenceslas but died suddenly at Brunn Castle (Moravia) in 1411.
