Elisabeth of Görlitz was the daughter of Sigismund of Hungary (1368-1437). In 1409 she married Antoine de Bourgogne who obtained the Duchy of Luxembourg in 1412 after the ousting of Wenceslas IV. Elisabeth was widowed in 1415, following the death of Antoine at the battle of Agincourt. She remarried in 1421 to Albert II who became King of Hungary in 1437 and King of the Romans in 1438. Albert died in 1439, Elizabeth in 1442.
