Cet écu est frappé sur un flan large et plutôt régulier. Monnaie présentant de hauts reliefs au revers, avec un enfoncement de poinçon de buste un peu faible. Patine grise. De petites stries d’ajustage au centre de l’écu de France

D’après nos recherches en archives, 9.924 écus de flan de conversion ont été mis en circulation entre le 10 février et le 14 décembre 1695 et 15 écus ont été mis en boîte. Le poids monnayé a été de 1.112 marcs 7 onces 3 gros. Monnaie qui n’a pas été retrouvée dans l’ouvrage Monnaies royales françaises et de la Révolution (1610-1794).
According to our archival research, 9,924 conversion flan écus were put into circulation between February 10 and December 14, 1695, and 15 écus were boxed. The minted weight was 1,112 marcs 7 ounces 3 gros. This coinage was not found in the work French Royal Coins and the Revolution (1610-1794)
