Coments on the condition:
Ce denier est frappé sur un flan assez large et un peu irrégulier. On doit noter une faiblesse de frappe à 1 heure au droit qui se retrouve sur le haut du temple, au revers. Le droit et le revers sont légèrement tachés

Reverse description : Temple tétrastyle avec un fronton triangulaire sommé d'une croisette coupant la légende en haut, portant en cœur une croisette posée sur deux degrés.

From 954, Lothaire ceded Aquitaine to Hugh the Great and tried to fight against the rise of feudalism. He ends up falling out with Hugh Capet (duke 956-987, king 987-996), son of Hugh the Great, because he is more powerful than his suzerain. At the beginning of the reign of Louis IV (936-954), a new monetary reform would have changed the size of the denarii to 360 coins per pound of 18 ounces.
