Ce denier est frappé sur un flan assez large, irrégulier et présentant un éclatement de flan. Petites taches au droit comme au revers et exemplaire présentant des faiblesses de frappe au niveau des légendes

It is under Brunon that the first coins of Toul are mentioned. In 1032, under the pretext that they were of poor quality, the count of Champagne, Eudes, went to war against Brunon. Brunon became pope under the name of Leo IX.
