Joseph Conrad (1857-1924) de son vrai nom Jozef Teodor Konrad Korzeniowski, est un marin puis un écrivain polonais et britannique ayant publié de nombreux romans et nouvelles (”La Folie Almayer”, “Le Nègre du Narcisse” ou encore “Lord Jim”). (cf. Wikipédia).
