Anne-Marie-Louise de Bourbon-Montpensier Orléans (1627-1693) was the daughter of Marie de Montpensier and Gaston d'Orléans, brother of Louis XIII. This type was widely imitated in the Italian principalities of Liguria. Marie-Madeleine Centurioni was the wife of Pascal Malaspina who was also Marquis of Fos Dinovo (1666-1669). The legal legend of his coins is imitated on Marie de Montpensier's twelfths of crowns: AN. MY. LOVE. PRINC. SOVV. OF. DOM. The reverse legend was the Montpensier family motto.
