Obverse description : Tête ceinte d’un bandeau à gauche, la chevelure indiquée par trois mèches, le cou par trois petits traits.

Reverse

Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Reverse description : Sanglier enseigne à gauche, l’oreille fortement marquée, la queue en une sorte d’annelet ; double volute surmontée d’une troisième sur une ligne d'exergue pointée en son centre et à ses extrémités.

Commentary

La forme en tête d’aiguille du bandeau de cette classe Ic1 est encore plus nette que sur la classe Ib. Exemplaire de poids relativement lourd avec un léger décalage dans l’ajustement des moules de droit et de revers.
The needlehead shape of the band of this class Ic1 is even sharper than on the class Ib. A relatively heavy example with a slight shift in the adjustment of the obverse and reverse molds.
