La typologie du droit et du revers est souvent la même ; l'attribution varie selon les légendes, souvent difficilement lisibles. Historical background

KUSHAN - KUSHAN EMPIRE - VASUDEVA III and his Successors

(260-360)

The Koushan Empire emerged from the ruins of the kingdom of Bactria and that of Indo-Koush. We know gold coins for Vima Kadphises (108-142), contemporary of Trajan and Hadrian. The empire knew its apogee under Vasou Deva Ier (185-228) then disappeared in the second half of IVe century, replaced by the Goupta empire, founded by Chandragoupta Ier (320-335).
