Exemplaire sur un petit flan irrégulier bien centré des deux côtés. Portrait très stylisé. Joli chrisme au revers . Patine marron foncé

Commentary

C’est la plus petite dénomination monétaire frappée pour l’empire Byzantin à Carthage. Il en fallait 7200 pour faire un solidus. Sur cet exemplaire, le buste semble placé entre deux globules. Le poids de cette monnaie pourrait bien correspondre à 4 siliques.
