Commentary

Le Monnaie du Japon a décidé de frapper une nouvelle série de monnaies bimétallique de 500 Yen sur le thème des 47 préfectures du Japon. Les 47 monnaies seront disponibles sur ce site au fur et à mesure de leur parution.
Cette préfecture est située dans la région de Chugoku sur l’île de Honshu. Sa capitale est Hiroshima.
La ville d’Hiroshima a été la cible le 6 août 1945 du premier bombardement atomique de l’histoire. Le Parc du Mémorial de l’histoire contient le cénotaphe et le Dôme de Genbaku. Ce bâtiment était situé à seulement 140 m du point d’impact de la bombe.
The Japan Mint has decided to issue a new series of 500 yen bimetallic coins themed around Japan's 47 prefectures. The 47 coins will be available on this site as they are released. This prefecture is located in the Chugoku region on the island of Honshu. Its capital is Hiroshima. Hiroshima was the target of the first atomic bombing in history on August 6, 1945. The History Memorial Park contains the cenotaph and the Genbaku Dome. This building was located only 140 meters from the bomb's impact point.
