Exemplaire sur un flan idéalement centré des deux côtés. Belle dépouille de lion ainsi qu’un très joli scorpion au revers. Belle patine grise avec des reflets dorés et bleutés

IONIA - MILETUS
(6th - 5th century BC)
Miletus, founded in the 12th century BC, had been the seat of the Ionian Confederation. During the War of Liberation, it was crushed in 494 BC. Its cult of Apollo was renowned throughout Asia Minor. Its settlers founded, among others, the colonies of Abydos, Cyzicus, Sinope and Panticapaeum.
