Commentary

Felix Aubery, marquis de Vastan, baron de Vieux-Pont... d’abord avocat du roi au Châtelet, il fut ensuite conseiller au Parlement (1716) ; maître des requêtes (1718) ; intendant de Limoges (1723), de Maubeuge (1725), de Caen (1727), de Châlons (1730) ; conseiller d’État (1743). Il mourut le 20 juillet de cette dernière année, étant en fonctions.
