Dans l’immense famille des Pelletier, notre personnage est Charles-Étienne Le Pelletier (1702 - 1785), marquis de Fruncé, conseiller du Roi dès 1722, maître des requêtes, intendant de Champagne en 1730, conseiller d’État en 1761, marié à Catherine-Suzanne de Cotte, petite-fille de Robert de Cotte (1656 - 1735), architecte du roi. Le jeton a très certainement été frappé pour leur mariage.
In the immense Pelletier family, our character is Charles-Étienne Le Pelletier (1702 - 1785), Marquis de Fruncé, King's Counselor from 1722, Master of Requests, Intendant of Champagne in 1730, State Counselor in 1761, married to Catherine-Suzanne de Cotte, granddaughter of Robert de Cotte (1656 - 1735), architect to the king.
