HOLLAND - KINGDOM OF HOLLAND - LOUIS NAPOLEON

(1806-1810)

Louis (2/09/1778-25/07/1846) accepts the throne of Holland on June 6, 1806. At odds with his brother and trying to protect his States, he abdicates on December 13, 1810. Holland is attached to the Empire French the same day. Louis is the husband of Hortense de Beauharnais and the father of Louis-Napoleon (the future Napoleon III).
