Commentary
Double tournois of the greatest rarity, dated 1607, with a Z under the bust, correspond to the issues made at the Lyon mill for the Dauphiné. Only one other example in much poorer condition was in the collection of Jacques Grangien. It was so worn at the vintage level that it was not possible to read it.
