Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et irrégulier, un peu court sur les légendes. Beau portrait de Gordien III. Revers inhabituel. Patine vert foncé granuleuse

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
