Exemplaire sur un flan irrégulier bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de Gordien III. Léger tréflage au revers. Patine marron foncé

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
