Exemplaire sur un flan très large et bien centré avec les grènetis visibles. Droit magnifique avec des portraits de haut relief, bien venus à la frappe. Frappe molle et floue au revers. Très jolie patine vert jade profond, légèrement granuleuse

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
