Exemplaire sur un flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés. Beau buste de Gordien III. Joli revers de style fin. Patine gris foncé avec des reflets métalliques dorés

Gordian III is the grandson of Gordian I and the nephew of Gordian II, ephemeral emperors of the year 238. At the request of the people of Rome, he is chosen as Caesar by Balbin and Pupian and succeeds them after their assassinations.
