Obverse description : Buste habillé et casqué à droite.

Reverse legend : ZUM ANDENKEN / AN DEN / HUNDERTSTEN GEBURTSTAG / DES GROSSEN KAISERS / WILHELM I. / 1797-22.MAERZ-1897.

Reverse description : Légende en 6 lignes, branche de laurier et de chêne, couronne impériale et symboles du pouvoir sur un coussin à l’exergue.

Commentary

Diamètre sans bélière : 39 mm
Le fabricant des médailles était Otto Oertel. Le dessin de la médaille a été réalisé par le sculpteur Walter Schott. D’autres exemplaires auraient été fait suite à diverses demandes auprès d’autres fabricants.
