Coments on the condition:
Flan un peu court avec les types assez bien centrés. Le droit est altéré par une zone rougeâtre mais le revers est particulièrement bien frappé avec une belle patine grise

Commentary


Ce rare type de billon, considéré comme un type original proche du BN. 3844, est attribué dans le Nouvel Atlas dans les monnaies de la périphérie arverne, à l'attribution incertaine.
Les rares lieux de trouvaille signalés se situeraient à l’ouest du Massif Central. Il existerait des monnaies d’argent (DT. 3610) et d’autres en bronze (DT. 3610A). Il est plus vraisemblable de penser qu’il s’agit de billon, plus ou moins blanc et plus ou moins bien conservés !
Cet exemplaire a nettement un triskèle au-dessus du cheval et semble en avoir un rinceau entre les jambes, et non pas un serpent comme indiqué dans la description du DT. 3610A.
