(3rd - 2nd century BC)

The city of Larinium was located on the territory of the Frenatani about thirty kilometers from the Adriatic Sea. Allied with the Romans from 304 BC The city seems to have remained faithful to the Roman alliance until the Social War (91-88 BC). Its coinage appeared during the Punic Wars.
