Pièce de la série “Trains de France”. En 2010 la gare de Lille Europe est mise à l’honneur. Cette gare à l’architecture très contemporaine est entrée en service en avril 1994 à l’occasion du lancement de la ligne grande vitesse Nord.
Après la découpe de la Tour Eiffel sur la pièce du même nom, la 10 Euro bombée Année mondiale de l’astronomie, la Monnaie de Paris innove en 2010 avec une tranche en forme de roue de train. Cette particularité se retrouvera sur toutes les pièces de la série “Trains de France”.
