UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

(since 1776)

Under McKinley's presidency (1897-1901), the United States confronted Spain and took Cuba, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Philippines from it. To Taft succeeded in 1913 Wilson who was to bring the United States into the war in 1917.
