Ce type frappé durant le règne de Philippe IV, reprend le type du double excellente d’Isabelle et Ferdinand. Ces pièces sont caractéristiques des productions de l’atelier de Barcelone et servaient au commerce avec le reste des royaumes voisins, qui y voyaient une certaine continuité dans la circulation des excellentes des souverains précédents. C’est la première fois que nous proposons cette monnaie à la vente .
This type, minted during the reign of Philip IV, is based on the double excellent coin of Isabella and Ferdinand.
