Exemplaire sur un petit flan, bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait d’Apollon bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers. Magnifique patine vert olive

Historical background
AIOLIS - MYRINA
(2nd century BC)
Myrhina, located northeast of Cyme, eclipsed by its powerful neighbor only appears in the Hellenistic period. Coinage would begin around 300 BC. The city was famous for the worship of Apollo Grynion. But the symbol of the city seems to have been the amphora which is placed at the feet of Apollo.
