Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, bien centré des deux côtés. Beau portrait de Ptolémée X. Revers bien venu à la frappe, un peu court sur la légende. Patine grise de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

EGYPT - LAGID OR PTOLEMAIC KINGDOM - PTOLEMY X ALEXANDER I AND CLEOPATRA III
(106-88 BC)
Ptolemy X is the younger son of Ptolemy VIII Euergetes (145-116 BC) and Cleopatra III. He was first governor of Cyprus in 113 BC. In 106 BC, he overthrew his brother Ptolemy IX Soter (116-106 and 88-80 BC) who took his place in Cyprus. He reigned with his mother until her death. Finally after a reign of eighteen years, he was driven out by the Alexandrians and murdered at sea. His brother then resumed possession of his throne for the last eight years of his life..
