Exemplaire sur un flan ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Portrait de haut relief, bien venu à la frappe avec l’égide bien visible. Au revers l’aigle est finement détaillé avec les plumes bien visibles. Jolie patine grise superficielle avec des reflets mordorés

Poids léger. Sur cet exemplaire, le portrait est parfaitement centré et les traits du Pharaon ne ressemblent plus à ceux de Ptolémée Ier.

(180-145 BC)
Ptolemy VI was the eldest son of Ptolemy V and Cleopatra I Thea. His mother's regency lasted until 176 BC. He reigned jointly with his brother Ptolemy VIII from 170 to 164 BC. He married his sister Cleopatra II by whom he had two daughters and Ptolemy VII. He died of his wounds while fighting Alexander I Balas.
