Nous n’avons pas relevé d’identité de coin pertinente. C’est l’une des émissions les plus importantes pour Ptolémée Ier (224 exemplaires dans le trésor de Meydancikkale (Gülnar II) n° 3391-3614).

Ptolemy was a childhood friend of Alexander. After the death of the latter in 323 BC, he received the satrapy of Egypt. Diadoque, he fought for forty years against his colleagues, Lysimachus, Seleucus, Antigone and Demetrius. Ptolemy was the only successor of Alexander to die in his bed.
