Reverse description : Légende gravée en 3 lignes dans une couronne de quatre fleurs sur leur tige.

Commentary

Exemplaire décernée au président de l’ordre des avocats, Jean-Paul Calon.
Ce jeton est bien mystérieux et ressemble plus à un passe d’identification qu’à un jeton de présence. Il date probablement de Louis XVIII, peut-être de Charles X, puisqu’il ne porte pas de poinçon et que Depaulis peut avoir travaillé sous les deux règnes. On peut suppose qu’un nom a été écrit dans le cadre du revers qui porte encore quelques traces d’encre noire.

It probably dates from Louis XVIII, perhaps Charles X, since it does not bear a hallmark and Depaulis may have worked under both reigns. We can assume that a name was written in the frame on the reverse, which still bears some traces of black ink.
