Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan large et ovale, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Très joli droit, bien venu à la frappe. Revers de haut relief. Magnifique patine de médaillier avec des reflets mordorés et bleuté acier

Commentary

Sur cet exemplaire, le monogramme ressemble aussi aux lettres BR (pour Brutus). La drachme d’argent semble infiniment plus rare que le statère d’or, moins d’une dizaine d’exemplaires publiés. La drachme est la copie servile du Statère d’or, cf. MONNAIES 43, n° 43 (RPC. 1701).

This king, otherwise unknown to history or history, is not known by coins. He seems to have lived in the second half of the first century BC. He appears after the death of Caesar, linked to the fate of Brutus before the battle of Philippi in 42 BC and disappears after this date.
