Exemplaire de qualité exceptionnelle sur un flan ovale, échancré à 6 heures au droit, parfaitement centré des deux côtés avec les grènetis visibles. Portrait magnifique, finement détaillé avec le baudrier visible. Revers de très joli style, bien venu à la frappe et tout à fait inhabituel, excepté sur le globe. Magnifique patine gris métallique avec des reflets dorés. Conserve l’intégralité de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Obverse description : Buste lauré, drapé et cuirassé de Crispus à gauche vu de trois quarts en avant, tenant une lance, pointée en avant de la main droite et un bouclier de la main gauche (F*8).

Obverse translation : “Iulius Crispus Nobilissimus Cæsar”, (Jules Crispus très noble césar).

Reverse description : Autel inscrit surmonté d'un globe et de trois étoiles.

Poids léger. Avec l’intégralité de son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Cuirasse cloutée. Baudrier clouté. Épaulière ornée d’une palme. Ptéryges fines. Bouclier clouté. Au revers l’ornementation du globe n’est pas visible (RMBT., cf. p. 97) mais le globe est très gros.
