SOMALI COAST OF FRENCH

The French Somali Coast is the name given to the territory of the present Republic of Djibouti during the French colonization between 1894 and 1967. 1894 corresponds to the fusion of Djibouti territory and Obock under that name in 1967 and marks the change of name of this space in French Territory of the Afars and Issas.
