Historical background

Corinthia - CORINTH

(350-306 BC)

Corinth was the unwitting victim of the Macedonian hegemony over Asia from Alexander the Great as it then lost its strategic role. Ptolemy I of the occupied 308-306 BC, which marks the end date of manufacture "foals". She joined the Achaean league after 268 BC, but the city was razed by Lucius Memmius in 146 BC for opposing Rome.
