Exemplaire sur un petit flan parfaitement centré avec les grènetis complets. Beau portrait. Joli revers de style fin. Belle patine grise avec des reflets métalliques. Conserve une partie de son brillant de frappe et de son coupant d’origine

Poids léger. Avec l’intégralité de son argenture superficielle. Rubans de type 3 aux extrémités bouletées. Ptéryges fines sous le paludamentum. Huit rangs verticaux de pierres.

Caesar

Born in February 317 according to the most recent chronology, Constantine the Younger receives on coins the title of Caesar like his half-brother Crispus and his cousin Licinius, as well as the title of Prince of Youth. Constantine II is the eldest son of Constantine I and Fausta. In September 337, he received the "pars occidentalis" from the Empire with subjection to his brother Constans, Constantius II having the "pars orientalis". Very quickly, Constantin and Constans fall out. The eldest is eliminated in April 340.
