Commentary


L’église Saint-Germain de Charonne est un édifice de style Roman et Classique du 20e arrondissement de Paris dont la construction s’est déroulée entre le XIIe et le XVIIIe siècle. L’église est classée au titre des Monuments Historiques depuis 1923.
Une médaille identique est présente au sein des collections du musée Carnavalet sous le numéro d’inventaire : ND1457.

The Fifth Republic, whose constitution was approved by referendum on September 28, 1958 by more than 79% of French people, only officially began with the installation of General de Gaulle as president on January 8, 1959.
