Commentary

Cette distinction a été instituée par un arrêté du 14 janvier 1972 du ministère de l’éducation nationale. Elle récompense des personnes qui, sans posséder la qualité de fonctionnaire de l’éducation nationale, contribuent au développement de l’enseignement technique et professionnel et des œuvres qui en dépendent.
La médaille de l’enseignement technique est décernée deux fois par an, 1er janvier et 1er juillet, par arrêté rectoral publié au recueil des actes administratifs.
La médaille de l’enseignement technique comporte trois échelons :
Bronze, accordé après 7 ans
Argent, accordé 4 ans après la médaille de bronze
Vermeil, accordé 5 ans après la médaille d’argent
Or, accordé 6 ans après la médaille de vermeil.
This distinction was established by a decree of January 14, 1972 of the Ministry of National Education.
