Ce denier est frappé sur un flan assez large, légèrement irrégulier. La croix du revers apparaît légèrement en négatif au droit. Petite tache sur le bras supérieur de la croix du revers et exemplaire recouvert d’une patine grise

The counties of Blois and Chartres, which had been reunited in the 10th century by Thibaud le Vieux (939/41-957/960), were separated between 996 and 1004 with Thibaut de Chartres, then reunited again until Thibaut's death. VI in 1218.
