Commentary

Georges Depeyrot ne recense qu’un seul autre exemplaire de ce denier avec deux besants en cantonnement de la croix du revers d’après un exemplaire conservé à New-York. En plus de l’exemplaire que nous proposons à la vente nous en connaissons un troisième exemplaire.
Georges Depeyrot only records one other example of this denier with two bezants in cantonment of the cross on the reverse, based on a example kept in New York. In addition to the example we are offering for sale, we know of a third example.
